In heat the processes in the body are much more intense, related to the activation of the metabolism, there is a higher percentage of sweating and this fluid has to be restored. To keep everything in balance, you just need to increase your water intake.

The optimal dose of liquid and water per day for a person is calculated at 30 ml for each kilogram of weight. When the water balance in the body is disturbed, the body quickly loses its available reserves. The percentage of water drops, and this suppresses absolutely all the functions and indicators of the body.

This in turn leads to a change in heart rate, blood pressure, skin dehydration and fatigue. Prohibited beverages further dehydrate the body and aggravate the situation. Along with alcohol, coffee and energy drinks, much care must be taken with ice water.

The refrigerator is one of the most important electrical appliances in the heat and many people have the habit of drinking ice cold water or other cold drinks. The cold drink brings only temporary cooling. As soon as it enters the body, its temperature decreases, causing sweaty pores to shrink.

This in turn prevents the heat from leaving our body and increases the risk of overheating and heat stroke. Sweetened beverages are especially harmful during the summer. Scented or not, each of them contains a huge amount of sugar. It breaks the water balance and causes even stronger thirst.

In addition, sugars quickly turn into excess fat – something we do not want exactly during the summer months. Sweetened beverages are the most unhealthy way to quench your thirst in the summer.
